About Me

A supplier meeting in Douala meant sorting a visa category built specifically for commercial trips, not tourism. The Cameroon Business eVisa covers exactly that, though it explicitly rules out any form of paid work while in the country.

Documents piled up quickly: passport scan, round-trip ticket, yellow fever certificate, proof of funds, an invitation letter from the host company, and confirmation of accommodation and current address back home. The application itself allowed choosing between short-stay coverage (up to 180 days) or long-stay options stretching from six months to a year, with card, PayPal, or crypto accepted for payment.

Processing landed somewhere between five and eleven working days depending on speed selected. Worth remembering: this permit won't double as a tourist pass, so side trips exploring the country separately need their own category.
